Rice SHOCHU

It goes without saying that rice SHOCHU (Kome-Jochu) shares its base ingredient with SAKE. Rice SHOCHU is also known for its thicker taste, though it has a refreshingly smooth flavor. This type of SHOCHU is also produced in regions famous for their sake, such as Fukushima, Niigata and Akita prefectures. See our list of Fukushima Shochu
